So glad I used this site. I ordered the correct part (cheaper than the manufacturer website) it arrived when they said it would with a spacer which wasn’t originally fitted and may well have been the reason for the original part to fail in the first place. Easily fitted and working as good as new!

Original door catch on my Smeg di12e1 failed (lug broke off the metal piece that clicks the door shut). Saw this on Spares2Repair website, it looked close enough so decided to buy one to see if it fitted. My model wasn't listed anywhere as suitable for this part however it was identical when it arrived. For those in a similar situation in the future, my failed part has a number "ITW DL386" on it - this spare is a plug in replacement. As per other review, I've fitted the spacer that comes with it too - this wasn't on the original and may be the reason it failed. Thanks Spares2Repair - part arrived quickly and safely, put in safe place as we were away, and was fitted in 10 minutes when we got back home. Just needs a screwdriver and something to wiggle the power connector off.

Found this replacement door lock for our SMEG Dishwasher by Googling ITW DL386 which was stamped on the broken door lock. Very reasonable price, although next day DPD seemed a little expensive. Item was dispatched same day and arrived promptly the following day. Using the instructions provided with the lock, it was changed in less than 10 minutes! No more hand washing of the pots! :-)
